Program Overview

The Technical Leadership Program provided hands-on experience in end-to-end product ownership and agile delivery. As a Participant, I learned to produce clearly defined, stakeholder-approved requirements, refined into user stories that maintained a consistent backlog depth of 1.5–2 sprints. I drove effective cross-functional discussions to elaborate on process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and alignment. The program emphasized collaboration with stakeholders to prioritize backlogs and maintain updated product roadmaps weekly. It also included supporting training and UAT efforts by providing product capability insights. I developed skills to influence and present initiative statuses in both internal and client-facing settings, while owning the full product development lifecycle and applying specialized product knowledge to align business and technology goals.

My contributions

Product Creation/Matience

Created and communicated a plethora of requirements in Jira. This was either a new software UI being added, a bug in an existing software, or a feature enhancement for an existing software UI.

Planning/Refinement

Presented in multiple refinement/planning meetings on a weekly and even quarterly basis. Communicated the need for each ticket with developers and discussed any additional information that needed to be added. Once done, ensured appropriate pointing by devs to confirm planning per ticket was complete.

Life of a feature

Saw the full life cycle of adding a feature. From the initial stakeholder meetings to the post-launch review.  Eventually learned business needs and insight through this process.
